The “Monster Mash” (1962) was performed by Boris Pickett and his Crypt Kicker Five. Bobby Pickett was born in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Hit the Top 100 with the same record, in 1962 (#1 Billboard) , 1970 and 1973 (#10).
In 1963, “Monster’s Holiday” was his Christmas-themed follow-up record. In 1985, he released the trendy, “Monster’s Rap”
